  • 2 teaspoons of dried fenugreek leaves known as Kasuri methi
  • 2 onions
  • salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons each of chat masala and red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1. Before grinding the spices lets dry roast the spices in a fry pan, to enhance the flavor.

Step 2. Take 2 tablespoons of coriander seeds, 2 teaspoons of jeera , 3 sticks of cinnamon, 6 green cardamoms, 2 teaspoons of black peppercorns and 2 dry red chilies. Roast them well and grind them in the dry mixer-grinder.

Step 3. Now take 2 tablespoons of hung yogurt, 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, salt and add the ground masala in. Mix them up well in a glass bowl.

Step 4. Now take some mustard oil in Prestige ceramic non-stick fry pan and add 5 tablespoons of gram flour and saute till you get the dark brown tinge.

Step 5. Take this off the heat, add it to the glass bowl of spice mixture and mix them up well. You just put together the chicken marinade.

Step 6. Take 250 grams of boneless chicken breast and cut them into even pieces. Drop these pieces into the marinade and add 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 teaspoons of dried fenugreek leaves known as Kasuri methi and coat the pieces uniformly with the marinade.

Step 7. Marinate it overnight or marinate it for just 2 hours.

Step 8. Use Prestige Grill Master which uses coal to cook the chicken with a smoky flavor.

Step 9. Preheat the Prestige grill master till the coals are red hot. Align the chicken pieces in the skewers, and place them on the grill.

Step 10. Meanwhile, chop 2 onions , sprinkle some salt, 2 teaspoons each of chat masala, red chili powder, 2 tablespoons of lime juice and mix them up well.

Step 11. Check the tandoor and take out the deliciously cooked chicken tikka.

Step 12. Serve this spicy onion mixture along with chicken tikka and enjoy the feast.
