Kurkuri Bhindi is a delicious twist to Masala Bhindi. Kurkuri means crispy and Bhindi means okra. This spicy, crispy okra is simply delicious.


  1. Bhindi-225gm
  2. Lemon juice-40ml
  3. Salt-to taste
  4. Chili powder-½ tspn
  5. Garam masala-¼ tspn
  6. Chaat masala-½ tspn
  7. Corn flour-20gm
  8. Oil-10ml

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1. Wash bhindi in running water and dry completely before cutting.

    Step 2. Cut bhindi diagonally.

    Step 3. Sprinkle lemon juice, salt, red chili, chat masala, garam masala and mix well.

    Step 4. Add the corn flour just enough to dust the bhindi and keep aside.

    Step 5. Pre heat the Air fryer at 180° C for four minutes. Lightly coat the fryer basket with oil.

    Step 6. Keep the bhindi in the basket and lightly brush with oil. Air fry at 180° C for 12 minutes, or till crisp.

    Step 7. Serve hot garnished with tomato, ginger and green chili julienne and coriander.
