Spring rolls, a classic chinese dish that is enjoyed by everyone, children in particular. They are traditionally served on the first day of the chinese new year.


Ingredients

  •  1/2 cup chopped spring onions
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup julienned carrots
  • 1/4 cup julienned Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup julienned French Beans
  • 3-4 tbsp spring onion greens
  • 2-3 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Cheese
  • 2 tsp Soya sauce
  • 2-3 tsp Szechwan sauce
  • 2-3 tsp Sweet and sour sauce
  • 1-2 tsp Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 nos Spring roll sheets (ready made) 

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1. In a pan, toss the spring onions. Add ginger garlic paste. Then add the veggies to the mixture. Give a dash of vinegar, Szechwan sauce and soya sauce. Just cook a little, not completely.

    Step 2. Once this is done, divide in two bowls. In one bowl, add cream cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. In the other one, add the sweet chilli sauce to the vegetable mixture.

    Step 3. Carefully spoon these on to the sheets and roll well. Be sure to close the sides tightly to avoid breaking.

    Step 4. Brush some oil on the top and use the air fryer to fry at 180 degree celsius for 18 to 20 min.
