This is a spectacular preparation from the kitchens of the north with a Continental twist. The fish is marinated in peppers, garlic powder which is then crumb coated and baked to keep it healthy as well as tasty. The prawns are cooked in spices with the rice along with onions, ginger garlic paste with a dash of lemon juice. This is served with a tangy sauce prepared out of raw mango and beetroot to which Italian spices are added along with a salad. This is a delicious and healthy dinner which is full of protein fiber which has very little carbohydrates.


For Rice: Prawns 5 to 6 100 grams of Rice Oil 2tbsp Cloves 2 Cinnamon 1 stick Black Pepper 5 to 6 Cardamom 2 Onion 1 Ginger Garlic paste 1 tsp Green Chilli paste1 tsp Lemon 1 tsp Salt to taste Baked Fish: Salmon 100 grams Breadcrumbs 100 grams Black Pepper powder 1/4 tsp Salt Ginger powder 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 1/2 tsp Paprika 1/4 tsp Corn Starch Water Sauce: Raw Mango Beetroot Oregano Red Chili Flakes Salt



Step By Step Method

  • Rice: 1. Add oil to the pan along with the all spices. 2. Add onions and saute till they turn golden and then add the prawns. 3. Add ginger, garlic and chili paste. 4. Now add the rice with water and salt. Baked Fish: 1. Marinate the fish with salt, turmeric, ginger powder, Garlic powder and paprika. 2. Dip the marination in corn starch water and then coat it with the bread crumbs. 3. Keep it it in the refrigerator for few minutes 4. Bake it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes Sauce: 1. Grate the beetroot and raw mango. 2. Now cook them with water. 3. Add salt, chili flakes, oregano and let it cool down. 4. Grind it to puree and serve.
