Step By Step Method

  • Place the loose black tea leaves ( 2 grams) say 1 - ½ teaspoon of black tea in a warm saucepan or a teapot with no water in it. Then pour hot boiling water into the pot. Cover the pot with a lid and let it steep between 3- 5 minutes. Check after 3 minutes and decide how strongly brewed you want it to be. Then filter into a cup. Add lime and honey to render it refreshing and flavorful. If you prefer sugar, you could add sugar or jaggery instead of honey.
