A platter of rice with the goodness of grilled chicken topped up with finger licking sauce


Marination: 1 chicken cut into medium pieces 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp Tandoori masala 2 Lime 1 tsp garam masala powder Coal Sauce: 8-10 kasmiri chillies Tomato sauce 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp chilli sauce 1 tbsp wostershire sauce 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp white pepper 3 tbsp schezwan chutney For rice: 1kg boiled rice 3 handfull deep fried onion 1 packet shan bombay biryani masala Finely chopped capsicum Lots oglf coriander and mint leaves For decoration: Cucumber and carrots sliced Cabbage shredded Chopped spring onions

Step By Step Method

  • Marination the chicken with the marinate ingredients for 3-4 hours.. Heat the coal pieces and add in the chicken pouring some pil and covering it.. after the dungar grill the chicken in the oven on medium For the sauce, grind the red chillies into a paste, In a wok, add oil add some sliced onion.. sauté for a while then add the red chilli paste, add in all the sauce ingredients and finally add some more sliced onion and capsicum For rice: boil rice with salt and keep aside In a wok, add oil, chopped capsicum, deep fried onion (birishta), shan bombay biryani masala, coriander and mint, finally add rice and mix well. Put on low flame to get the rice cooked In a big platter, decorate the outer corner with sliced cucumber and carrots, in the middle add the chicken pieces, on the side add rice, and top the chicken with the sauce.. add the shredded cabbage and green onion on the top Serve hot
