Coriander Fish is one of the most delightful recipes of Indian Kitchen. It is full of aromatic and amazing in taste.


  • 250g fish washed, sliced
  • 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 8 cloves- Garlic
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp methi/coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp jeera/cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  •  A pinch of Turmeric powder
  • Add salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Marinate the fish in salt and turmeric powder for 15 minutes.

    Step 2

    Shallow-fry the fish pieces in oil. 

    Step 3

    Grind the coriander leaves, garlic, and green chillies.

    Step 4

    Heat oil, add the masala paste and fry till the oil separates.

    Step 5

    Add tomatoes, methi seeds, and the powder masalas, and fry till the oil begins to float on top.

    Step 5

    Add about 1 cup of water. Bring the gravy to a boil.

    Step 6

    Add the fish slices and cook for 10 minutes. Serve the fish curry hot.
