A yummy and rich dish which can be relished both by Veg and Non Veg especially during Ramzaan


2 cups paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
2 tbsp oil
3/4 cup grated onions
2 green cardamoms (elaichi)
1/2 cup blanched ,peeled,deseeded and chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 cup fresh cream
salt to taste

For The Garnish
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)

Step By Step Method

    1. Heat the oil in a deep pan, add the onions and cardamom and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
    2. Add the tomatoes and 2 tbsp water and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    3. Add the chilli powder and turmeric powder and cook on a medium flame for a few seconds.
    4. Add the paneer, cream and salt, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
    5. Serve hot garnished with coriander
