Lauki or Dudhi halwa is a classic dessert that is simple and delicious!


1 cup of Milkmaid
1 cup of Sugar
3 cups of Dudhi (Bottle Guard) Grated
1 tsp of Cardamom Powder
1 tbsp of Ghee
½ cup of Fresh Cream

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Mix the dudhi (bottle guard) with all the other ingredients.

    Step 2

    Keep it aside for 15 minutes. Grease the tray and pour the mixture in it.

    Step 3

    Bake at 180o Centigrade for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
