This hearty one-pot chicken stew practically cooks itself! It's made all in one-pot with tender chunks of chicken and savoury veggies. Enjoy it with crusty.


  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 5 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • chicken stock
  • 2 large carrots cut
  • 400g new potato
  • 200g frozen pea
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • soft herbs, like parsley

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Put a prestige cookware on the gas.

    Step 2

    Fry the thighs in a casserole dish till it turn brown.

    Step 3

    Stir the spring onion with flour and stock cubes till it properly cooked, then add 750ml hot water.

    Step 4

    Add the carrots and potatoes, bring to boil. Cover and cook for 20 mins.

    Step 5

    Take off the lid of the prestige cookware and boil for another 15 mins, now add the peas for another 5 mins. Season the stew with the mustard, green spring onion bits, herbs.
