Ingredients

12 pieces of Paneer that are cut into medium sized square shapes

For the marinade

¾ cup fresh curd

⅓ cup gram flour

¾ teaspoon of turmeric powder

½ teaspoon of chilli powder

½ teaspoon of roasted cumin powder

1 teaspoon of pepper powder

1 teaspoon of fennel powder

½ teaspoon of carom seeds

½ teaspoon of lemon juice

½ teaspoon each of ginger and green chilli paste

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons of oil

A few saffron strands dissolved in 1 tablespoon of milk

For the Garnish

1 teaspoon of chaat masala

1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh coriander

 

Cookwares

4 Satay sticks

A cutting board

A knife

1 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

1 measuring cup

A small bowl ( to dissolve the saffron strands in milk)

A large mixing bowl

A silicone brush

Step By Step Method

    1. Mix up all the ingredients of the marinade with the Paneer pieces and keep aside for 30 minutes.

    2. Preheat the AirFryer for 3 minutes at 180 degrees.

    3. Slide in 3 pieces of the marinated Paneer into each satay stick and fill in all the remaining 3 satay sticks similarly.

    4. Place these satay sticks on the grill and set the Air fryer into the cooking mode. Once the timer beeps, you will see the Paneer pieces have cooked to a beautiful light brown colour.

    5. The Grilled Paneer is then served in a dish garnished with chaat masala and freshly chopped coriander.
