Rabdi is a rich and creamy milk based dessert, a popular sweet in India. Traditionally prepared with milk or khoya, this instant recipe uses bread crumbs to thicken the rabdi almost instantly.


  • 1-liter whole milk
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 cup Fresh bread Crumbs
  • 100ml Condensed milk
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2-3 tsp each of Almonds and Pistachios
  • 1/4 tsp Saffron 

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1. In a large saucepan, bring the milk to a boil. Once done, add in condensed milk and sugar. Mix well.

    Step 2. Now, add bread crumbs and continue stirring until thick.

    Step 3. Add in cardamom powder and saffron.

    Step 4. Garnish with the dry fruits and serve.
