Ingredients

200 grams of lady fingers or Okra

½ teaspoon of chilli powder

½ teaspoon of turmeric powder

¼  teaspoon of garam masala powder

¼ teaspoon of mango or amchur powder

¼ teaspoon of chaat masala

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons of oil

3-4 tablespoons of gram flour

Cookwares

1 large Mixing bowl

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

1 silicone brush

1 Mixing spatula

A cutting board

A knife

 

Step By Step Method

  • Wash the Okra well and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Slit them vertically and cut them into 4 pieces.

    Place them in the mixing bowl. Sprinkle the dry spices , gram flour and salt over them.

    Gently mix them up and keep aside for marination for 20-25 minutes.

    Preheat the Multi-utility Air-Fryer for 3 minutes at 180 degrees.

    Now mix in the 2 tablespoons of oil to the Okra mixture.

    Coat the Air-fryer basket well while being placed on the tray.

    Place the okra mixture in the basket and introduce it into the Air-Fryer.

    Set it to the “French Fries” preset cooking option.

    After 10 minutes, pull out the basket and toss the okra within and if needed, you could further coat them with oil.

    After the timer beeps, remove the basket to see crispy golden brown Okra.
