It's time to treat your taste buds. So try this crispy Surmai Tawa Fry at home and serve it with hot rice and Sol kadhi to your loved ones.


  • 4 Surmai Fishes

  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-Garlic Chilli Paste

  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • 50 grams Rice Flour and semolina

  • Salt to Taste

  • 1/2 tablespoon Lemon

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    In a plate mix ginger garlic chili paste, red chili powder, lemon juice and apply the mixture to the fish

    Step 2

    Dip the masala fish in the rice flour and semolina powder.

    Step 3

    Take a Prestige tawa and heat oil.

    Step 4

    Add the fish in the shallow oil pan and cook it on both the sides. Your Surmai Tawa Fry is ready to serve.
