Amazing mango pulao is a perfect summer retreat for you and your guests.


Ingredients

  • 220 grams of Cooked Basmati Rice
  • 30 grams of Ghee
  • 150 grams of Ripe Mango
  • 50 grams of Onions(sliced)
  • 70 grams of Raw Mango
  • 70 grams of Freshly grated coconut
  • 2 grams of Curry leaves
  • 15 grams of Cashew nuts
  • 60 grams of Hung curd
  • 20 grams of  Fried Onions
  • ½ teaspoon of Mustard Seeds
  • ½ teaspoon of Cumin Seeds
  • 3-4  Kashmiri Red Chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 inch chopped Ginger
  • 1 inch chopped fresh Turmeric

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Cook basmati rice and keep aside.

    Step 2

    Peel mangoes, cut the ripe mango into chunky 2 cm square pieces and shred the green one; reserve.

    Step 3

    Grind the chillies and add coconut, ginger and fresh turmeric.

    Step 4

    Heat up the ghee gently, temper it with mustard and cumin seeds. Add thinly sliced onions, and when it turns golden-brown, add the mango chunks.

    Step 5

    Add the rice and stir, roast cashews with curry leaves and add.
