This is a spice-infused tea with a hoard of benefits. It stimulates digestion and your senses. It prevents cold and nasal congestion, boosts immunity, energy and is rich in antioxidants.


3-5 cardamoms

2-3 cloves

½ inch cinnamon

3-4 peppercorns

3 thin slices of ginger

1 cup of water

1 cup of milk

1 ½ - 2 tablespoons of loose black tea leaves

1 tablespoon of sugar or jaggery as per taste



Step By Step Method

  • Heat the cup of water in a saucepan. Add all the spices along with the black tea and bring it to a boil. Cover with the lid and let it steep for 10- 15 minutes. Then add the milk, bring it to a boil once again and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and switch off the flame. Add in the sweetener and filter it into your favorite cup.
