  • Leftover Idli
  • All-purpose flour (maida)
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Turmeric powder, Red chilli powder, Black pepper powder
  • Soya Sauce, Tomato Ketchup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Cooking Oil
  • 1 Squarely diced onion and green bell pepper
  • Finely chopped Spring onions
  • 1 Cup water


Step By Step Method

  • Mix all-purpose flour, Corn Flour, Salt, Pepper, Turmeric powder, Red Chilli Powder and Soy Sauce in a bowl.
    Make a smooth paste by adding water to the mixture.
    Cut the leftover Idlis into bite-sized pieces.
    Dip the Idlis in the batter and deep fry in the oil till it becomes crispy and golden brown in colour.
    For Sauce
    Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan and saute one finely chopped onion. Add ginger-garlic paste once the onion becomes
    Add Soy Sauce, Green Chilli Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Salt and Pepper.
    Add fried idlis to the sauce.
    Coat them completely by tossing the idlis in the sauce.
    Add some green spring onion.
    Serve it hot.
