Tawa Sabji Masala is a yummy weekend special sabzi. A must try for foodies, tastes awesome when served with garma garam chapati or roti. In North India, you will find this delicious option in almost every wedding menu.


Potato- 4 pieces
Onion-4 small pieces
Brinjal- 4 small pieces
Tomato- 4 small pieces
Lady finger- 8-10
Green chilli- 4-5
Parval-4-5 small pieces
Vegetable oil- as per your requirement.
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 2 teaspoon
coriander powder-2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder or Amchur - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala-1 teaspoon

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Wash all vegetables properly.

    Step 2

    Cut potato in four pieces while slit from top to bottom in remaining vegetables except onion.

    Step 3

    Deep fry all the vegetables except tomato or sauté all vegetables in oil in fry pan to make it soft and take it down.

    Step 4

    Mix all spices.

    Step 5

    Put Prestige tawa on gas and add oil and cumin seeds seeds (zeera) and heat on high flame.

    Step 6

    Now add one pieces of each vegetables and sprinkle spices mixture and sauté properly then it out.

    Step 7

    Now tawa sabji is ready to serve. (You can take any vegetables as you like. If tawa is big size, then you can add all pieces of vegetables instead of one piece of each vegetables.)
