Ingredients

1 cup of boiled Basmati rice

1 large finely chopped Onions

½ cup of cubed Potatoes

2 finely chopped Tomatoes

½ cup of cubed Carrots

½ cup of Beans cut into ½ inch pieces

½ cup of cubed Paneer

½ cup of peas

1 inch Cinnamon

3-4 Cloves

1 Bay leaf

½ cup of freshly chopped Coriander leaves

2 tablespoons of Cooking Oil

Salt to taste

1 teaspoon of Mustard seeds

½ teaspoon of Turmeric Powder

1 teaspoon of Chilli Powder

1 tablespoon of Biryani Masala

Cookwares

Pressure Cooker, Kadai, Spatula, Bowl, Knife

Step By Step Method

    1. Heat a wide saucepan and add the cooking oil.

    2. Temper the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, along with the bay leaf, cinnamon and cloves.

    3. Add the finely chopped onions and fry them on medium flame till they turn golden brown.

    4. Add the chopped vegetables and fry them for another 8-10 minutes along with the onions till tender.

    5. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and the biryani masala till the oil seeps out.

    6. Stir in the cubed Paneer now, let them get mixed and coated well with the masalas.

    7. Add the boiled rice and give it a gentle stir to get the Vegetable Biryani with Paneer already.

    8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
